Pupils from the S4 Hospitality Skills for Work class had the opportunity to put their skills to good use last week when they cooked and served an Italian lunch for members of staff. The menu was pizza or lasagne, followed by tiramisu. Under the supervision of Mrs Lynn Smith, Principal Teacher of Home Economics, the pupils have been working with Perth College and the Angus Hotel to gain realistic experience of the hospitality industry.
Ian Gibb from Perth College was delighted with their work. “The pupils have been hard working and professional, and are an excellent advert for this type of course.”
