The prizegiving for 2008/2009, was held on Tuesday 30th June. Mr Devine compered the evening and introduced Mr Miller and Mr Fyffe as speakers. Both celebrated the work done by pupils, parents and staff throughout the year.
Pupils provided fabulous entertainment. Kyle McIntyre on the pipes and Christopher Ewins on the snare drum worked together on some toe tapping tunes. The dance club showcased a great routine, the group included R Borrett, E Oudney, F Ritchie and R Mitchell. Jack Helyar and Demmie Cameron gave a very enthusiastic performance from High School Musical.
But the other stars of the evening were the prizewinners. Once again the school was supported by the local community who provided the prizes on the evening and our thanks are extended to everyone involved.
