We interviewed Mr Devine

Article by Kate and Emma

On Monday the 14th January we had a little practice at lunchtime. We interviewed Mr Devine, former DHT at Blairgowrie High, and asked him about his new job. He was asked a series of questions such as what his new job, “School of Ambition Coordinator” was all about. We videoed the interview and also took photos. Our LRC coordinator Mrs Pieroni, helped organise the camera and video camera.

Hannah and Fiona interviewed Mr Devine, Maria filmed it on the video recorder and Natasha took the photos.

Interview1

To start off, we asked him what he had for breakfast. He said that he had a cup of coffee and a chocolate muffin.

We wanted to know what his new job involved. He told us it involves handling money and deciding what it is spent on.

interview2

We asked him what the money would be spent on and he said that it would go towards making a restaurant within the school. He told us that he missed working with the pupils but still enjoys his new job. Click here to see the video shots. Most importantly, the quick fire round… Mr Devine chose:

  • Cheese over chocolate
  • Train over plane
  • Cheese and onion over salt and vinegar
  • Water over juice
  • Chips over apples
  • MacDonald’s over KFC

What do you think that says about Mr Devine? You decide.
