Sport Relief

Alan Shearer and Adrian Chiles set of on their 355-mile cycle from Newcastle United’s St James’ Park to BBC television centre in London to raise money for Sport Relief. Over the next few days they are hoping to get a lot of support and help from the Great British public.
Here at Blairgowrie High school we are raising money for sport relief too. In the school we are raising money by doing an egg and spoon race, football games netball matches. We hope to raise a lot of money to go towards the charity.

Stephanie interviewed two people who are competing to raise money for charity. They are called Grant and Mark.

Stephanie: Grant, tell us what your event is Grant: We are doing a five hour sponsored football marathon Stephanie: Mark, when is it Mark: We are doing it on Friday the 14th of March ?
